Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I was working with guys who were Firefighters and I immediatley got interested. Found out after joining and realizing what the tradition of the fire service was all about, I was hooked. So I made a goal and a promise to myself that I was going to serve and help protect my community, my family and friends. My goal was to educate myself and share the knowledge to young kids and families. Provide training to help people prepare for emergencies. What I do today is recrut young and energectic people to join the fire service and teach them as I was taught, to carry on the tradition to help when people need it.
