About Me:

I served in the US Air Force Strategic Air Command for four years. I then married in 1962 and now have three grown children.
I joined the Fire Service in June of 1966. Served as Dept Secretary -Treasurer before working up through the ranks as Lieutenant, Captain, Deputy Chief and then Chief from 1979 to 1982. I was then appointed as Deputy Fire Coordinator and Fire/Arson Investigator for Livingston County by the Office of Emergency Management. I served in the capacity for over 22 years until I retired from that position. I am now active with the Fire Police. I serve on many committees in various capacities.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I joined the fire service with the belief that everyone should give back to their community in some capacity. In my case I believed if I could help save someone's life and/or property it would be most worthwhile.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

I am honored to serve with a world wide brotherhood of firefighters.
