My Training:

Im currently about to start my 16hr Basic Firefighting course. Then attended my 64hr and 22 live burn. Im hopin to take it all the way to Firefighter 1 & 2, then get my EMT-IV witch I begin this summer. Im wanting to take what ever I can and get as much under my belt as possible. I'll never knew it all though.

I'm Bryan Long, 18 years of age. Started off as a Junior firefighter for the City of Graysville Fire Dept when I was 16. I love what I do and hope to due it for my future career. I listen to all kinds of music and love all kinds of food.

Did work at Bilo Grocery store as Frozen Food Manager.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I didn't want to do this stuff about 2 years ago, until I was on the scene of a wreck. Seeing the firefighters and emt's attended to victims caught my eyes. I wanted to do something hands on and always something different, never a dull moment. Then I saw a trailer fire about 2 weeks later. The federals wineding and lights flashin, just got my blood flowing. I joined the local volunteer dept. It was an eye opener for me. Now I've found my true calling. I love every min of it and everyday. Im the first generation firefighter in my family and hopefuly my kids will keep the tradition going. I love what i do.
