First responder then up graded to EMTB; took fire 1,2,&3; MPO and MPO Aerial; multiple Hazmat certs.; Wildland Brush and so on.

About Me:

I've been with Watertown Fire Dept. as a POC (paid on call) for 20 years and also became an EVT Mechanic in charge of the Fire/EMS fleet for the past 7 yrs. at the Watertown Street Dept. My original plan was to go full time, but at that time the FD was not hiring from in house and with wife and kids moving wasn't going over so well. Then the position was offerd to me at the Street Dept., still decent bennys but longer to retire. So here I am living the headaches and the dream at the same time.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

Never really thought about it when I was little or through high school but after school was done I saw the ad for hire and it light a flame and I was never the same. I would have even missed my own wedding for for a burner, good thing the tones didn't go off that day or I would would still be paying for it.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

Always love to help, Some needs to be there, what if my family or friends or belongings, everybody is somebody's family
