Looks like FF Nation is fairly new. My name is Patrick M. Conrey I'm a Driver Operator of a Ladder Truck in Clearwater, Florida. Last Spring I attended a training seminar regarding a line of duty death in the fire service. The victim Oscar Armstrong III died in a flashover while fighting a residential structure fire in the City of Cincinnati. He left behind a finacee, two son's and a daughter on the way. Being a Firefighter and a Marathon runner this is what I came up with. In May 2008 I will run the Flying Pig Marathon (Cincinnati) in HONOR of FF Oscar Armstrong III. I'm looking for donations of 1 to 2 dollars for every mile run. Trust me I will finish if they have to roll me across the finish line. All money raised will go to the Children of FF Armstrong III. I'm also looking for other FF's to run this with me. They don't have to run in full gear unless they want. I'm just trying to get the word out. They can run in HONOR of someone else if they would like. Thank you for your time and consideration.
