Glad to hear from you. Thanks for the quick response. I just got back from a short vacation. I spent most of it at home, but spent a few days at South Padre Island. It's hard to come back after fun in the sun.

Things are pretty warm here...between 97 and 101 last week, and we'd be getting the same grass fires, but I guess most burned off several months ago. A friend texted me and told me a house was lost about 3 miles north of me and a mile south of her...I have a feeling the 4th is going to bring quite a few firework fires...

As far as for my fire dept., quiet as can be. When it gets this way, we know that all hell will break loose soon. Probably while I'm working this weekend.
