At 7:48pm on August 6, 2007, Katie Moon said…: We're rural. Our Station has a 2000 gal tanker, Engine 18 with 1,000 gals, Rescue 18, Old Engine 181 and a brush truck. We have some wicked roads and bad MVC action as a result. Structure fires are down this year from last, but we have mutual aid to help keep us busy. Big timber area, lots of trailers, good people, mostly. Lake Mitchell is about 30 min. away..in St. 9's area. Gulf Shores is about 31/2 hours away. Life is good.
