My husband and I finally broke down and purchased our own Polaris Sportsman 500 ATVs. One of our favorite outdoor sports is ATVing in the Rocky Mountains. My profile photograph is only my second day ever on an ATV and of course my dear firefighter friend whom accompanied us on the vacation took me on the most difficult trail he could find (by accident). But, there is something to be said for "jumping in with both feet." I am ready to head back this spring and re-conquer the "devil's punchbowl."
I have ridden in the truck a few times during training but it's amazing how what seemed easy in the day time was not so easy in the middle of the night. It took me a while to even find my seat belt. Funny really but when it's dark in the cab and the emerg. lights are reflecting off the snow outside it's really disorienting and I had trouble finding stuff.
I did my first run last night up to hwy 9 for an MVA. They rolled 302 and 312 as well as all of our trucks. I made it on the pumper, second truck out, and we took a nice scenic trip 3/4 of the way to the call before we got turned around and sent back. That's it so far.
yea yea trails are fun no matter what u drive/ride just got back from race and it was pretty bad.. we had bad communication with top people and ended up having our chasers think that we were out of the race when we werent.. so that messed us all up :(
I have an area that says you have 2 friend requests. Everytime I click on it it just keeps going back to my page. I Under your last message I already clicked add as friend. This thing is being a bugger,
Hey Randy thanks for the add, although I am trying to find out where I press to accept you as a friend. I have had a few people add me and I never can find out where the accept button is. Can you help?
