Hi Firegirl, didn't see anywhere to send you a request, so if you would like to add, please send me a request. You do have a beautiful city as I read another say. I have been there once for ten days for a structural collapse school at Ames with DART. They put on a great program. Saw the usual sights, but the clifts and the ocean were the most beautiful. We ran into some folks training on the cliffs and were invited to join them, but we were headed to the airport to return and didn't have time to. Take care and saty safe. Jim

there is a lot to be said for a slower pace of life out of the rat race. We live out of the city now and it is nice to go back now and again, it is lovely to see green fields and smell fresh air!! San Francisco does look fantastic though - one of my all time favourite films is Bullit with Steve McQueen - and I love the car chases that were filmed in your City - I don't think they have ever been beaten!!

the house below was the house of a femous irish man daiel oconnell the main street in dublin city is named after him it is in derrynanne the photo at the sea is also derrynanne the rest are of the lakes of killarney all in county kerry

Hi marnie The helmet was desgined by an irish man ( the dragon on the side was his daughters idea a symbol of fire ). for the london fire brigade and was later taken on by the dublin fire brigade they went out of service in 1938 when eletricty came in to wide spread use as some fire fighters died while wearing the helmet they are made from brass that one is an officers helmet it is silver plated in this picture this helmet has the dfb badge this one is oned by a friend of mine the silver one is mine
