Hey bud, How did the run go outside of the EMS issue? I ran across the article on the internet. Great job!!!! The guys here say "great save". Hope all is well and we're a little disappointed you didn't stop by on your way up. Stay low, Jeff
I think Scott is on Sand Key(44) or the Beach(46), I've never heard of Snopes.com, I'll have to check it out! So how do you know so much about Pinellas? Did you live here or just like the area?

YES PETER TELLS IT LIKE IT IS. I'M FROM MASS. SO I CAN APPRECIATE THAT! PETTAY WORKS OUT OF YOUR STATION, DOESN'T HE? I THINK I MIGHT HAVE HEARD OF YOU RUNNING IN THE MARATHON...MAYBE SOMETHING ON SNOPES.COM...I'M GOING TO GO CHECK IT OUT.
YES IT IS PETER, MY HERO!! HE IS THE ONE WHO GOT ME IN THE FIELD. I ALSO KNOW SCOTT PETTAY, ALTHOUGH WE HAVEN'T SPOKE IN A WHILE. I HAVE PICS OF CLEARWATER FD ALL OVER MY HOUSE.
Hey there Patrick!
What station are you with in Clearwater? A good friend of mine works out of station 45, gave me some great black and white photos..just wondering if your in them? STAY SAFE OUT THERE!!
Yea. He retired from MacDill, went to Turkey came back. Became Training chief of citrus county Fire. Started the training center there. retired again, moved to Savierville Tenn. enjoying life and riding his cycle. I take it you were in his class? I just recently retired from Sunstar after 20 yrs. I was one of the ops Supervisor for 15 yrs. So all done with Pinellas county and enjoying the country life and working @ a small fire dept.....Anyway thats the story, probabley more info than U needed. Trying to remember U, but i was a south county unit not venturing north county too much...
Dan, I believe its 127 but I'll have to get back to you on that. I know he's been here since the 90's. He drinks out a glass that has a 127 or a 124 not sure which. I'll ask him today!
No, on the opposite side of the state, but Mass. is a small state and the weather is typically the same statewide. Although the Berkshires where I am is the most beautiful. April weather????? Ha ha ha.......ya never know, it could snow, or it could be 80.
