hey samantha... all those suggestions are great... they pretty much cover the current inconveinces with the radios we use today. although i have no other suggestions i wanted to add you as a friend cause its nice to think that there are people out there working with us to help us execute our job better. so i would like to say thank you for caring and thinking of us. good luck with school and your project. happy holidays!

Hey Samantha, how is it going. I just read your forum about redesigning our radios. I think its a great idea. I also seen that you are doing a market research project on firefighters, thats cool also. I think it would be cool to participate in your research so get in touch and we will talk. Also im from the great buckeys state. I work for a department on the west side of Ohio. Well talk to you later and get in touch about the research.

hello samantha,,,was looking at your posts on here,,see your at CCAD an that ypu were up at 24s lookin around a bit,,that truck was my first assignment out of the academy,,I am currently assigned to Ladder Co 1..just down the street from your school.
our R&D have our radio pockets on our chest now as im sure somebody showed you,,most carry there talkie on a shoulder strap system,,not sure which is best,,,i think fad an looks are biggest reason,,without turnout coat they are a bitch in the pants pockets so that is one huge benefit there,,,the strap system can be a bitch when you work,,it tends to slide around in front of you an can become a burden at times,,as for the radios,,,if they just worked inside buildings i wouldnt give a shit on color or size within reason,,can you design a radio that works ? lol,,,if so look out motorola !!! by the way i have been up to danville,,,a few of the brothers live up that way. be in touch we can see what we can work out
