Thanks for adding me, and thanks for the response on the discussion I started, very valuable and interesting information indeed. I too, live in an area where most of the fire and EMS services are small and mostly volunteer.
Thanks for proclaiming being a Squirrel, I know exactly how you feel. I started this group just to lighten up some rookies and experianced alike with some good humor, great stories and maybe by accident some use ful knowledge. Welcome to the Fire Squirrels, start up a discussion or post comments or even some video or pics if youd like, whatever intrests you. Good and Bad discussions are welcome here. All of EMA is welcome here. From my family to yours have a great day. JT unit 1671

Thank you for the comment you left! I'm sorry about your grandpa! I do believe that people are put in your life for seasons and the season I had with my grandmother will always be a great one. I know she is watching over me as well as he is watching over you =). Thanks again and Stay Safe!!! =)
haha.... thanks for the comment! The flight medics i've flown with laugh because i'm so short that I dont have to worry about anything BUT the tail rotor... no worry about the wind dipping anything low enough to hit me!
When I was born the one medical professional that had faith in me pulling through (NICU nurse) told my parents to hold on to their hats because if I made it I was going to take off running and never turn back
My mom says between the fire and pd stuff I do/ have done I've definitely lived up to that statement
