The weekend wasn't too bad. We weren't busy at work, just six calls Saturday. B-Shift got spanked real hard though, the were up all night Friday night from what they said. They did 23 calls after 10PM Friday. I was actually able to get the stock room and everything caught back up from a month of Hospital Rotations. Every other month, we rotate out of town trips with Anniston EMS, and it is usually busy on shift during the rotation months. How was your weekend?

The Concord Truck was in the F-5 Tornado that went through West Jefferson County several years ago. It was called the Oak Grove Tornado by the National Weather Service in Calera. Google it and see what you can find on pictures. I have some more to find and post, but it was a scary place to be after the tornado went through.

It's very busy up here right now, I'm actually studying up on some math for my placement test next week for Paramedic at Gasden State. I'm pretty nervous about it. I stink at math. Otherwise, it's hot, and I got so much to do and not enough time for it all. But, all in all, it's great, work is good, and they are going to pay for my Medic, so I have nothing to complain about...

I was just down your way about 2 weeks ago for vacation in Orange Beach. It was great to see some new areas for a few days, plus, if I could find a job at the beach, there'd be nothing better! That was the first time I had ever been through Bay Minette before.
