If you want to send one to 1207 Washington Street, Perry Georgia, 31069. Make it care of Captain Patterson with a return address and I'll get one back to you.
Why thank you..And iowa is my home state, when done with schooling i head back to Ft. Sam for rest of training, including basic...go figure...lol...oh well. its how i had my contract set up. schooling before basic
yea! Its a 36 or 37 model. Our dept. bought it new and its still hanging around. They say it still pumps but i have not seen it in action, it runs good and fun to drive. lol!
I think that the cert program is very good. Here it is called PEM and I am still working on it. With all the work that comes with the job it is hard to get away to go to training. The state says that we have to have our PEM with in 2 years so I have to get mine down this year since I am already over 2 years. It is nice to use to show the commissioners that you are doing the training and that you are qualified for the job. So I think that it will help you to get the cert.
Hey I hope that you go for the job and I hope that you get it. It is a great career to be in. You have many hurdles to over come but it is all worth it in the end. Let me know how it works out for you. Good luck.
You will have to go to my page and go to my friends list and get on the page for Huntington Co. EMA. One of my guys made that page and it is all about our EMA department so you will have to check it out.
Hey Clint nice to hear from you I am the director for the EMA in our county. I love it it is my full time job that I started 1-9-06 and I look forward to coming to work every day. I am still learning but I love it. Are you involved with your county EMA? I see that is what you do in the guard I didn't know if you did it outside of there.
Hey Clint , Chris from VMFD, cool someone from the same state let alone county not to mention from nearly the same part of the state. Stay in touch and stay safe!

Yeah, I'm glad the fight to get them is over. We started carrying, again in November 2006. Even though we were training since back in the 1990's to be prepared when they gave the go ahead. I'm the dept. Historian and they did away with them in the late 1950's early 60's, not a wise choice but I'm going to let the past be the past. Our world has changed so much, since 9/11.
