Hi Chad, We aren't seeing any real effects from the hurricane yet, just a little wind I live in North Alabama so we are hoping it won't get that bad for us. As for my training, I've not been with the fire dept long. So far the only actually training class I have had is the meth lab detection and safety course. A DEA officer came and gave a training seminar on it. It was very informational, with our area being so rural, we have to be prepared for them, for our safety. Hi Chad, things are great here in Kilkenny (weather's a bit crappy but a typical Irish summer I suppose!), the calls are flowing steady enough so we can't complain. How are things with you?

Hope it's just as nice there as here...for August, we've had the best weather. Not the usual hot, icky stuff!!
