Hi Cliff:
I’m working on a project and I need your input. I have put together an educational program for school kids 3rd thru 8th grades, their parents, and teachers. It is based on Fire Service, the purpose is to teach kids the skills of Goal Setting and Stress Management through a Fire Prevention & Safety model. (If you want any more information about the program just contact me.) The project allows me the chance to form a bond between local fire departments and the communities our firefighters serve. MY QUESTION TO YOU IS: What would you like to see from your community to make your job easier/better?

Thanks & Be Safe!
Maya

Please pass this along to your friends.

I RUN AREA THAT I RUN IS OUT SIDE THE CITY OF EAST LIVERPOOL WE HAVE ABOUT 5000 PEOPLE THAT WE SERVE AND IN OUR AREA DONT HAVE TO MANY BUSSINESS MOSTLY RESIDENCAIL . I HAVE HAVE BEEN ASST CHIEF FOR ABOUT 5 YRS. WE DONT RUN ANY AMBULANCE SERVICE

We run about 200 fire calls and the ambulance runs over 1,000.

We are in a small town that is slowly becoming almost a suburb(even though Philly is over 50 miles away) and the mall that is going is supposed to be the second largest in Lancaster County.

Of course the township isn't mentioning any additional funding(they don't give crap as it is).

What area do you run it? How long have you been Chief?

Thanks for the welcome. I only know a handful of people from the south end of the county, but I hope to get to know a few more through this website. Does Patrick Perkins still run with you guys? He use to work for me at Columbiana EMS.
