I'm spending the week at the NYS Fire Academy in Montour Falls, New York. Small world... met a bunch of people with mutual acquaintenances, some FDNY guys that know a buddy of mine, paramedics who know a brother in the Navy.... happens every time. It seems like it's going to be a long, but enjoyably productive, week of school. I'll be a nationally certified Fire Service Instructor I by next week! Wish me luck.
