Ok up date i just got done speeking with the assistant general manager. After only telling him what happen and what was said he spoke up and said that is wrong your trying to better your self and be better at what you do. There is no reason you cant leave 3hrs ealry during harvest. I will take care of it and thank you for all you are willing to do.

tell your employer that JUST because your a volunteer doesnt make a damn of a difference. go to the next level up in management and say your enrolling to become firefighter, and you would greatly appreciate their cooperation and work with your schedule. if noone is willing to work with ya then try to find different courses or different school for different time frames.

JUST a volunteer. well what if he has to call 911 and needs those volunteers  all you say well sir its JUST a fire.grab the yard hose.
