Good morning and welcome to my world!

I am a carreer oriented fire Lieutanant/Paramedic with my home town department. Im going on 14 years on the department and cant imagine doing anything else with my time. I was one of the lucky ones who tested on a whim because I didnt like my original job option and started at ten on the list out of several hundered. I have had so many doors opened for me since I began my journy on the department, I just wish there were more hours in the day so I could venture through every one. Most of the people I know on the job tested anywhere from two to a couple dozen times before they landed a position.

On the other side I started my own business in fitness marketing which is really starting to take off. My goal is for this to be my plan B and have this when I retire at a young age. One of the companies I represent (Beachbody) has amazing products like P90x, Insanity and many more work out videos as well as a highly advanced meal replacement and vitamin shake. I hope to promote nothing  but health and fitness in the fire industry and want to end the trend of out of shape firefighters and cardiac related death incidents among emergency workers. Any ideas on helping with that I am open to suggestions.

Ok, yesterday my son and I got up and decided we needed a road trip so we packed up and we were on the road by noon. Left central Illinois and 850 miles and 12.5 hours later we arrived in Savannah Georgia to visit my sister and her family. Today we are heading to see the sites and just goof off.
