Well, for starters, check out this site. There is an abundance of material here that can help you form drills. Check with your local lumber company and supermarkets. Sometimes they will give you scrap lumber and pallets that you can turn into practice hosebeds that you can set up on a table. This way you can use your spare hose to practice with, or you could build scba challenge mazes. The pallets also come in handy for roof ventilation practice. Firehouse.com, Fire Engineering.com. Fire Rescue.com all offer on line training that you can use to build your training programs. The United States Fire Administration has online publications and on line training that may also help you develop your program. You can use your own station to practice search techniques, rescue drags and carries, hose advancement and ladder evolutions. Your only as limited as your imagination. Your welcomed to shoot me an e-mail for additional suggestions.
