If you're considering giving to the
National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, now is the right time. Through March 31, Pierce Manufacturing will double all donations up to $10,000 through the NFFF Full Throttle Support II initiative.
In addition, anyone donating is entered into a sweepstakes to win a custom, one-of-a-kind Harley-Davidson Fat Boy Firefighter Special
Edition motorcycle.
“The Pierce family is an integral part of the firefighting community, and we believe in the vital mission of the NFFF to support the loved ones of fallen firefighters,” said Wilson Jones, Oshkosh Corporation executive vice president and president, Fire & Emergency. “As year two of the NFFF Full Throttle Support initiative reaches its conclusion, we urge all to step forward and make a gift that we will gladly match up to a total of $10,000.”
The NFFF is a nonprofit organization that remembers and honors America’s fallen firefighters by providing their survivors with a place to turn for help rebuilding their lives. Spouses and children of fallen firefighters are eligible, through NFFF, for education, scholarship assistance and job training. Furthermore, NFFF-established peer networks offer families and coworkers essential emotional support.
“Throughout the NFFF Full Throttle Support campaign we’ve been moved beyond words by the commitment and dedication shown by the people of Pierce, its dealer network, Harley-Davidson and everyone who supports our mission,” said Ron Siarnicki, National Fallen Firefighters Foundation executive director. “Without their advocacy we would not be able to expand our programs to support the loved ones of our fallen heroes.”
