The painful waiting game

So I applied with a fire department over a year ago. They are hiring but have not made any decisions as of yet. I took my written test and my physical agility test, passsing both. The PAT I was most proud of, making a time of 4minutes 43 seconds. They give us girls 7 minutes and the guys 5 minutes. I was so super duper proud of myself for making such a fablous time!!! I give the credit to 4 people, first and foremost God! He gives me all of my strength daily! Secondly to three friends who are firefighters who helped me out so much!!! Seth, Kevin & Lucy! I appreciate how God places people in my life to help me!

I know the department is going through some leadership changes and that is probably the hold up at this point, but I am going to call them on Tuesday and ask about the interviews! I am so ready to move to this awesome town and work for their department!

I have been working out so hard! Trying to really work up my endurance and muscles!!! I wish I could get a volunteer position with my local town, but currently {and for the last year} they have not been taking on newbies. I just go to VFD's farther out and do training with them, but it's not easy to respond to calls that way.

I put this dream on hold when I started having my family, but now my BABIES ARE 8, 9 & 10! It is time to get with it and start working on my dream vehicle, THAT BEAUTIFUL BIG RED TRUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please keep me in your prayers as they start the interview process that this would be God's will for our family and that if this is not the department he wants me with, that he would show himself to me and show me where he wants me!
