So, I wake up to a call and spring out of bed to a possible structure fire. I get on scene, walk to the back of the house and wouldn't you know it, it's a prominent business man in my town and he tells me no pictures. "Yea, right." I know he was kidding but no one tells me "No pictures." LOL!

I take a couple of snaps because we have some new guys on the Quint and they aren't sure who I am. They will learn soon enough. It doesn’t help that I'm not bunked out, but what the hell. There's no flame, not even a haze.

I'm heading back to the vehicle after cutting up with some “donut eaters” (we always cut up on scene - some people don't get that :/ ) and at least three people ask me if I'm going back to bed. "Do I really look like I've just got out of bed?" I walk up to Chief's car and like in the side mirror. "Holy Sheet! I look awful!" I ask Chief, "Is it that obvious I look like I just woke up?" He laughs his ass off.

It's the makings of a good day! :)
