I being a voulunteer I really appreciate it when people just come up to you at radom and thank you for all the hard work you do that really make me feel good (not to take away from any of the paid fire men out there) it really makes it all worth it when people realize that you are not only protecting the community but you have all the training that we have to do most of us work full time jobs and are trying to raise a family on top of all of this. What everyone needs to remember is that we do this without any pay so our payment is the simple thank yous that we get from time to time and the support of our fund raisers that we have to do in oder to keep protecting you guys. With this being said I would also like to thank all of the paid departments out there these men and women put there lifes on the line everday not just part time like alot of us do and I know that the general pubic sometimes just takes it for granted that you are there and also I would like to thank you men and women for the support you show us volunteers. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND CONTINUE TO BE SAFE.
