Swine flu has arrived in the area. NICE.

I learned at work today that Swine flu has arrived. There are a few confirmed cases in a town named Hillsboro. They are being linked back to a bus that went to Kings Island (an amusement park about 45 min from here). I'm not really feeling the panic state that most are, but ya know these things happen. But I expect MANY more cases in the area now since the ppl with the virus went to an amusement park and presumably rode the rides and touched things there prior to their symptoms showing. The only thing we can do is Amp up our precautions to safegaurd ourselves against it and hope for the best. One woman I work with at the MRDD actually takes alcohol wipes and hand sanitizer with her EVERYWHERE. She wipes shopping carts, and knobs, and handles and continually soaks herself with the sanitizer. At one time I woulda thought this was extreme, now it makes me think I'm being lax. Don't get me wrong I'm not a dirty butt, I wash my hands ALOT, but am by no means a germphobe, but now with this swine flu, I wonder if i should be....
