As you may know Cruisin' With Kids works very closely with EMS, Law Enforcement and Child Care services, programs and schools nationwide to help Keep Kids Safe, and would like to bring to your attention a recent piece about them in the Safe Kids Worldwide Newsletter and the overwhelming response they received (an excerpt has been provided below).

Tool for Techs: Free Tag for Techs

The Cruisin’ With Kids Safety Tag™ is a notification tool used by parents and caregivers to alert motorists and EMS that a child is regularly present in a particular automobile or residence. As a service to the community, Cruisin’ With Kids donates Safety Tags™ to community organizations for distribution at safety events. To date more than 10,000 Safety Tags have been distributed by EMS, law enforcement, and parent and child care organizations nationwide.

Since so many of the nationally certified CPS technicians are involved in the public safety field, we are pleased to offer currently certified CPSTs a FREE Safety Tag. If you are interested in receiving a free Safety Tag™ and product donation information for your organization and community or visit http://www.cruisinwithkids.com/safety.html and complete the Safety Tag™ Sample Request Form.

In addition to the Safety Tag request form, technicians can also check out the brand new Cruisin’ With Kids Community where you can create a free profile page for yourself or your organization. The community offers you an opportunity to interact with other safety technicians, and to promote your organization, services, safety information, events, and more for free to all community members.

In coming weeks they will launch a new program established to concurrently help families Keep their Kids Safe and fund the heroes of this nation like Fire Fighters that keep our kids and families safe. In other words, they will be launching a program to help main street instead of wall street.

Finally I want to let you know they just launched our updated community for parents and safety organizations to keep up with safety information such as product recalls, news, laws and more. The community is brand new and I would like to extend an offer to every organization in this community to create a free profile page to promote your organization, partners, services, information, events and more for free to the community parents. There is also a new group created for Car Seat Inspection Technicians and Car Seat Safety Information and Reviews (or feel free to create your own group).
