Well, first of all us being parents ,as we know are kids come first ,and your whole life changes ! When i adopted my son from Vietnam two year's ago , i took a year 1/2 off from what i love doing ! It took awhile for me too get back into shape unless you count running around after your child a work ouy lol . . just like when i train for marathon's i would start out doing a mile ,each day until i got to 5,10,20,26.2 miles . Well, are you in the basic fire program ? Pilates is a good work out ,its good for strenghthing your muscles, and your mined . It sound strange from a guy , i also like to climb stairs , and as you might not know when using your SCBA gear and using Scott pack.Air is your life line , So skip breathing will help you save on your air in the bottle . And DON'T LET ANY ONE TELL YOU YOU CAN'T BE A FIRE FIGHTER ?? You can be anything your heart wants you to be . And We are not in the sixty any more , And the LAST TWO WOMEN ,that's in offices are women .And they hold the second most powerful job in the country . When i started basic, fire fighter in 2005, it was tough .But pick a person in the class that will be there too the end ,and will allway's have your back . The post important thing you will learn is never leave your partner behind .Two in two out .i would be happy too guide you anytime through the course . Be safe ,your no good at the scene if you get hurt , you want too get home to your son safe . Lt.Chris !!
Training...mm... anyone said training? where do you start when you've been super active once, stopped, had a kid, and then even though I'm physically back in shape, I haven't worked out on a regular basis for a LONG time! Got a few tips on how I should start/and what I should start with?
