Notes from a Rookie Firefighter...June 13, 2009

I can't tell you how I feel when I turn on my laptop in the morning and see a friend's request, or someone sent me a message, through firefighternation.com.

Today is Saturday and I was supposed to back to where I used to live on Eastern Long Island to visit some old friends. Important since I don't have any local friends who I can go to the mall with, or take a walk with, etc. You know - the kind of friends you've had since your kids were little and at some point had some similar issues with their kids. But I have to work today.

Last night and the previous night I have been taking the Fire Officer Final. A friend who is actually in the class gave me a copy of the test and I love the review but I am having trouble with a few of the questions. I lent my FF1 books to someone who needed them for FF2. So do any of you know:

Ethics often begin where _______ leaves off. Possible answers are justice, the law, delegation, or communication. I can't seem to choose between the law and delegation.
