Almost ten years ago, the lines between soldier and public servant became blurred by a horrible act of terrorism in lower Manhattan. On that day, and the weeks that followed, we all served as warriors on the front lines - whether fire, EMS, law enforcement or military.
But this weekend reminds us that one brave group of American protectors take the fight to the enemy on their soil. Sometimes they are asked to pay a steep price, so we First Responders may serve with honor on American soil.
To all branches of the US military, We think of you every day and thank you for your constant vigilance and protection. Most importantly, we are so very proud to refer to you as our brothers and sisters.
