Junior firefighter--training(Hose evolution)

I think I'm going to start blog posts, on mentionable trainings, mainly the ones I enjoy. Which I seem to enjoy everything, whether it be the mazes, or just sitting in the meeting room going over basics.
I did some vehicle rescue training, and some others, but I cant recall them good enough to go over them fully.
So I'll start with my most recent.--

Last Tuesday, we ended up doing hose evolutions, which i did once before but didn't really participate in, for the most part i just watched. We had planned to just go across the street to the lot where all our MVA training cars are. Instead we decided to take the Engine And Tanker up to the local elementary school and use there big field as a training ground (which has been done before). When we got off the truck, we went around to the front and unpacked a pretty skinny, yet long hose that i can't really identify. The hose was hooked directly onto piping from the front bumper(maybe someone can name it for me).
Anyway, we stretched the hose full length down the field. Called for the operator to charge the line.
We each took a partner,
A and B

and B and O

(i dont wanna say full names) all i can say is im the second b.

First up was A and B,

A was on the nozzle and B was right behind working the hose.
The captain explained to us the basic way to do this, and from i remember it went something like,
Whichever way the man on the nozzle wants to go, the person behind has to go the opposite way, like, shifting the hose. Anyway, they were a pretty good team, considering they were married.. They didn't argue much.

next was my partner and I. I was behind first, I didnt do too bad, the only thing wrong was the nozzle man wasnt loud enough over the roar of the water, for me to hear him.
So I was next on the nozzle, i planted my feet and opened it up,
I just sprayed straight for awhile, and played with the different stream settings for a little bit, and it was time for us to turn to the right.. The guy behind me was all over the place and i ended up having to move with him because he was literally yanking me around, i almost lost my footing a couple of times.

We packed up the hose, drained it, ran it out. And we went around to the tanker for drafting operations, which was pretty basic i guess, Hard sleeve into the pool, to the engine, etc.

And i guess thats it.
Congradulations if you read all this
