I want to Say Happy Birthday to a man I look up to that helped make me the man I am today. A man that on Oct. 23rd, 2008 passed away. This man was my father. He may not have always been the nicest of people, but he was a good man. My Father served in the United States Marine Corps from 1964 to 1968 nd spent 1 year 3months and 17 days in Vietnam. His time there finally was the cause of his death of heart proublems. My father lived by a Moto that was "Semper Fi" Always Faithful! that he was Always Faithful to God, Country, Corps, & Family. I regret that as he got older we did not always see Eye to eye and I didn't belive him when he told me that he would not be here for his b-day. We laid him to rest with full military honors on Thursday Oct. 30th, 2008. The Marines were get. I wish People could have know my father like I did, but that can not be. Thank you for all that heve listened to me.

Fire Medic,
I'm not a Marine but a son of a WW2 vet. Dad was a Army SSGT and passed away on Oct 26th of this year. We buried him Sat, Nov 1st in NY. He also got full military honors. I didnt see eye to eye with my dad either but he was a good man also. So in closing I say "SEMPER FI" to your dad and to all military members doing what they do, THANKS!!
