Im trying to find out how to change over ifsac certifications for my state

Hey everyone I am trying to find out how to change over my IFSAC certifications that I got through the military to normal state accepted FF I/II certifications. If anyone has any idea how to do this I would greatly appreciate the help. With that if anyone has or knows where to find a list of states that accept IFSAC certs alone it would be a handy tool to have also.

Martin: I worked some back in the 90's at Tyndall AFB in Panama City when they were drawing up the Air Force training requirements to meet IFSAC certification standards. Eventually I got the IFSAC certificates in the mail, based on my training while active duty, civil service and reserve. Fast forward to 2004-2005 and I was a full time chief in TN and attending the new, state fire academy regularly. Somewhere in this period the TN. Commission on FF was created and when I sent in my IFSAC certs, they refused to recognize them. Then it turned out the Commission was working toward IFSAC recognition for the state ???????? They were so impossible to deal with I quit trying. There always seems to be friction between the state academy and the FF Commission. As far as I can tell it depends on the state you are in, TN doesn't accept anyones out of state certs that I have found. i.e. I am a GA. P.O.S.T. certified police officer and field training officer, but TN will not accept it.
