I actually have been a business woman most of my life...and really didn't know if I had time for the fd but my husband really wanted me to join. I would like to see all the women automatically be in the auxiliary and also unless the women are really serious about going into burning buildings not to fight fires because of the hard work involved when a serious fire happens. -- It's not a fun thing it is a serious thing.

I would like to learn ways the women can support the men so we really are a help and not 'in the way" or keep the FD busy with silly stuff. We have a strength and beauty that is different than the men- and we should compliment the fire dept. I know fundraising is important. open input is important. I like to be productive and use my skills to help...even if it means...be a good toilet cleaner ...believe it or not sometimes that is just as important...if you have a fire and can't use the restroom...you'll know why!
