i moved to the south waikato about 3 yrs ago hoping to do one more year of school and leave 3 yrs later im still here i joined the fire service just over a yr ago and now i dont want to leave, i love my town and my brigade i love the waikato, its the place i now call home. i always thought i would grow up to be a vet or something ,helping animals but a year ago that moved to helping people, and i found a way i could do both, work with animals and help people, farming in the heart of the waikato and volunteering, im not a farmer yet but im getting there slowly, the fire service has changed my life and put me on a new path to follow, now oneday when i get a lil older i want to try for a career in it.
