The Program Planning Council is finalizing the FRI 2010 program, but it’s not too late to be a part of this year’s dynamic program. Each year new ideas and programs come up after the call for papers has been closed. This year we're offering a second opportunity to submit presentations on emerging topics. The deadline is March 1.
The Program Planning Council specifically seeks the following topic areas:
Recovery from the Economic Crisis (e.g., adjusting operating guidelines and standards to meet the realities of today’s fiscal restraints
Technology Integration (e.g., using the cloud and the internet to enhance services)
Hazardous Materials Leadership (non-tactical)
Incident Management Teams (IMT)
Shared Resources, Cooperative Services, and Mutual Aid
Interoperability
Environmental or Green Issues/Impact
Health, Safety and Survival
Community Risk Reduction (e.g., residential sprinkler system retro-fitting and new construction topics)
Volunteer & Combination Leadership
Fire-Based EMS
FRI 2010 is designed for all members of the fire service, therefore, we encourage program submissions that are geared toward all levels of service including:
Fire Chiefs
Deputy/Assistant Chiefs
Battalion/Division/District Chiefs
City/County Managers
Company-Level Officers
