Do you enjoy a nice round of golf on a sunny spring day? Even if you don't, you SURELY want a firefighter to win a national golf contest when he's the only firefighter out of just four contestants left!

One of FireRescue's board members, Matt Tobia, sent us a message that his Fire Chief, Robert Ray, Chief of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department, is a finalist in a Golf DIgest contest to win an all-expenses paid trip to play golf with Michael Jordan and other celebrities at the site of this year's US OPEN in Bethpage New York. He's made it to the Final Four out of 73,581 entrants! Of the contestants remaining, Chief Ray is the only firefighter.

Where do you come in? The winner of the Final Four is selected by voting for a candidate online. Of the four contestants left, the one receiving the most votes will get to play. In addition, the round will be filmed by NBC and shown on June 21st from 12:00 to 1:30 pm EST, just before the US Open final round telecast.
