FireRescue1 is reporting that four former Charleston firefighters are suing Sofa Super Store, its owners and several furniture companies, alleging that they suffered physical and emotional injuries as a result of the 2007 blaze that killed nine of their fellow firemen.

What I do find interesting, is that October 22, 2009, I wrote a blog about NM Firefighters suing over the "Scene From Hell" in which they were exposed to dnager and suffered post traumatic stress as a result of that incident. Check it out at

There's 3 pages of responses, and some of them aren't that glowing in relation to the lawsuit. Comments include "manning up", "It's part of the job", "Move on to other careers" and so on.
Is the Charleston firefighters case any different in essence?
