I am looking for a sample policy regarding the use of personal cell phones and other electronic devices while on duty. If you have a policy for this I would appreciate you forwarding me a copy.

This is something that Came to my mind while sitting through some of my sons FF1 classes. Beyond all the interruption and inappropriate timing questions, the question of how many of our cellies/pagers/PDAs are intrinsically safe? Probably not too many of them. We get calls for some nasty stuff at times and all you would need for it to become a really bad day is for you non I.S. phone to go off. Guess it's time to sit down and write an SOP.
