BROKEN - HEARTED (something i wrote)
BROKEN – HEARTED
Have you ever been broken – hearted and to know
What it’s like to feel the pain.
The depression, the loneliness.
It all seems to get to you at one point or another.
Even though it doesn’t seem like it at first.
You feel like no one wants you and
That they don’t care.
The world seems as if it’s crashing down,
Upon you and all around.
Your suffocating and being smothered by it all,
You’re buried up to your head.
It’s disastrous, before too long you will crash
And end up shattering into a million pieces.
You just want to run away,
From everyone and everything,
To start over new in a place
Where no one knows you.
Becoming weaker and weaker
As the times go by.
When you stand up,
You just fall and
Want to lie in your bed all day and cry.
At times, it just makes you want to scream,
Because it’s so deep within.
You have a cold, black heart with a big hole,
And a crack splittin it in two,
Right down the middle.
