It is said that women can drive men do the darndest things. We can get so caught up in a woman that we'll go off the deep end if anyone even thinks about looking at our girl. Would I try to kill someone over a woman? Hell no! Apparently one firefighter would.
We hear that police plan on charging a Springfield, MA firefighter with attempted murder after an assult that left a 45-year-old man with a slashed throat! And yes, this stems from a fight ... over a ... woman. Good grief.

The Republican newspaper of Springfield said the fight began this past Friday morning when the unnamed firefighter and an accomplice attacked a man with a box cutter. The man suffered a slash to his throat, two deep stabs to the back and several defensive wounds to his arms. He was listed in stable condition at Baystate Medical Center following emergency surgery.

The firefighter’s accomplice, 26-year-old Nathan Boucher, was arrested on assault charges. The firefighter's name has yet to be released at the time of this posting. Once we find out who the lovesick individual is, we'll update the post.

Hope the girl was worth it - cuz you ain't gonna see her again anytime soon!
