Viejas 2008 Fire Expo and Firefighter Combat Challenge

Southern California’s LARGEST Firefighting Events! Enjoy a memorable summer day with the entire family at the Viejas 2008 Fire Expo and Firefighter Combat Challenge. This 18th annual event is designed to heighten public awareness of modern emergency services and includes “live” firefighting demonstrations, a fire and burn prevention education pavilion, a firefighter obstacle course for the kids, fire engine rides, a “kiddie karnival,” emergency service vendor booths, live music, food and much more.

Be sure to visit us at our “San Diego Firefighters’ Emerald Society Booth” in the festival area. You can’t miss us…We’ll be the ones in Kilts! At the Expo we’ll be sharing Fire Safety literature and Educational materials; selling Emerald Society shirts and merchandise, and; conducting a Membership Drive.

While you’re visiting us be sure to enter the Raffle to win a signed print by the incomparable Artist, Gene Locklear. Mr. Locklear is a former San Diego Padre-turned popular Sports Artist, whom in the aftermath of the 2007 San Diego Wildfires commemorated our local Firefighters through his art work in order to assist those hit hardest by the tragedy.
