Isn't it time as a fire service we begin to identify egos that put us in situations that endanger our lives needlessly? How about recognizing large, fireloaded, life hazardous buildings that we have no business being in in the first place? That and mandating sprinkler systems for old, deteriorating buildings that have a proven track record of killing firefighters and the general public. Maybe it's time to change our way of thinking....
