In the early morning hours on September 11th, our dept was dispatched to a fire at a National Park Service site. When our crews got there command new they needed more man power. Eight other depts were called out and the fire was fully out by 10 am that morning and the fire started around midnight. It was one of two large scale fires to hit our area this year. Not to mention we have a state wide drought. Pictures may be posted on our depts webpage soon, but you can also search the internet for pictures of the blaze!!
