Hey, my name is Zack. I'm new on this site and need some friends...i guess i'm supposed to talk about myself. I'm 15. (I know...I'm "young") but i know a good bit for my age. I want to be a big city firefighter...ladder company. I've been w/ Duncan Chapel for the past 2 years as a cadet, learning the trade. I enjoy it so much. Most kids my age are out getting in trouble, while i'm at the fire department hoping for a call. I want to make this my life. I'm very passionate about it. I study as much as i can, and whenever i have free time i go to the fire department. There are a lot of great guys here who teach and help me whenever i need it or they think i need it (lol). So anyways, that's a little about me. Add me, get to know me, u might like me. Peace

I very much appreciate your advice. I understand I should be, in a way, "multi-talented" lol. Thank you for your support, I honestly wish there were more like you who could inspire me. Although, the job itself is inspiring. I would like to keep in contact with you, as well. Once again, I want to thank you for your advice and understanding.

Firefighting is a very good career choice, It is very demanding as I am sure you already know. Become interested in becoming a medic or you will most likely never make it to the BIG TIME LOL. I was once like you young and ambitious, I started in the fire service in 1996. Since then I have been a officer for the past 6 years in my volly house.
