Hello all. I am a ff/paramedic at Kirtland Fire and Emergency Services near Albuquerque, NM. I have been a fire fighter for 18 years and a paramedic going on 14 years. I fill one of the major problems the fire service has is the integration of EMS into the fire house. I feel they go hand and hand. I know I may have ruffled some feathers with that statement. Hear me out. I know many fire fighters that want nothing to do with EMS and I am all for that. I takes someone with brain damage to want to hold someone with there head blown off and while waiting for them to die.
