I don't understand...
I posted a comment in a training forum outlining a good search line drill that was easy and fun to do, and received 8 comments.
Then I see a post on whether or not blackened helmets are "cool" that received 26 comments.
I don't understand how this happens. It's not that my topic didn't receive any comments, I'm more miffed because I think people's priorities are fucked up.
That's all I wanted to say.
Remember - be safe out there, and train like your life depends on it.

I enjoyed the video very much .I have discussed it with our department and we are going to give it a try .We also are going to see if our City stations want to participate in it .Keep up the good work and stay safe...

I feel your pain.
Webchief and I have had numerous conversations about this very phenomenon.
We have decided that people are paranoid where it comes to commenting on technical tasks.
Let's face it; it's much easier to pass a comment on a helmet color than it is to discuss ropes and knots.
I have threatened to stop writing and Dave has always convinced me that our blogs see lots of traffic.
Like you, I would like to see a view-o-meter to see if I have an audience, because I swear, I have a very "quiet" audience, if that's the case.
Don't give up. Keep posting.
It's good therapy, if nothing else.
Where else can you have this much fun for free?
