I went through hell this summer my wife left me and two kids, I had a woman find me and promise me the world only to end our quick relationship with lies and pain..I wrote this after I left a shirt at her house Current mood: cynical

One of my shirts is gone..its just a shirt,Its just a blue t-shirt..It has some words on it..It has a big 6 on the back of it..Its just and old shirt. I have a few more just like it. In fact there a few more just like it other men wear.I see many of them at a lot of calls..If you look at my pics on my page you will see a few just like it. They are on men,just men, doing something for someone who needed some help..I see many shirts like it ever other sunday,in Williamson, at the fire house..You see the fire house is a place where we park some trucks, Just trucks.. A few men meet there some times to do a job.Its just a job..someone has to do the job they do...If these men didnt do it who would? its just a job right? or is it?They dont get paid to do it.It must be just a hobbie.if these men who were shirts like the one i lost dont get paid to wear them their job must not be important right? July forth 07 these guys had some fun. They took turns putting on there "other clothes"kool looking suits. expencive suits Cost more than most mens suits.They must be proud someone paid for their suits for them.They looked like they had fun that day..A firefighter from another station didnt have his suit,I loaned him mine.It was when he reached for my helmet.and one of my firemen had a shit fit i relised my helmet was a little differant than most of the others..Mine is made the same,looks the same,There is very little differances in mine and the the black one he wore..Mine is red,Mine was earned through years of trust and respect.mine has LIEUTENANT on it. So you see if you think I just lost a t-shirt,its like saying,my firefighters are just men,the firehouse just hold trucks,our fire gear is just a suit,and my fire helmet is just a .helmet, and my firefighters just do a job.Heres a few things about my shirt..Im proud to wear it. I deserve to wear it.my children who are a part of me wear it to bed. if you find my shirt and you think you have a right to wear it your wrong....I earned every last thread of it..Id rather see it burned on my body than you were it. Its a part of me. UPDATE: I went and got my shirt back..No way in hell anyone else will take it...It represents a huge part of who i am and the other men that wear ones like it...Ive risked my life many times to wear that "damn" shirt.
