The Band of Brothers pipes and drums is made up of firefighters who currently work for union departments. The body of members are from the following Chciagoland departments: Chicago, Naperville, University Park, Calumet City, Hamond, Gary, Hobart, and Frankfort. The band, formerly known as Hammond Fire Dept. pipes and drums, began in 2002 and has grown to 30+ members.

We play funerals as well as FDIC, Maryland, Colorado Springs, and various parades. We enjoy massing up with other departments including Palm Beach Co Fire, Indianapolis Fire Emerald Soc., Cleveland Memorial Fire, St Louis Fire, FOOLs, and as of late the pipes and drums of FDNY Emerald Soc. These are more than other bands to us, these our our brothers and sisters. We are related by fire and music. On this website you will see pics of us all.

In the event we are playing someplace feel free to come up and introduce yourself. We may let you buy us a beer.. ;)
