911...the call comes in on the day of this,
Brother and Sisters respond goodbye to family they blow a kiss.
They know not what this call will bring,
Alarms will sound...as sirens will sing.
They arrive at the scene a gory sight,
Donning gear they muster all their might.
Responding with quickness responding with care,
Airplane into a building.....a responders nightmare.
Starting a rescue quick into action they all do rush,
Madness and mayhem...an eerie hush.
Guiding here and directing there,
Follow directions and you'll get out safely I SWEAR.
World Trade Center Towers stood so tall,
Built so tough surviving a bomb they did not fall.
Unbeknownst to those inside they crumbled as they began to come down,
They didn't stop till they rested on the ground,
Responses like this are terrible this I say,
We're here for the duration knowing it'll be a long, long day.
HERO'S TO US THEY GAVE THEIR ALL
9-11 THEY MADE THEIR LAST 911 CALL
