Day after day

Fire after fire

You stand tall

You hear it all

There always asking you why

Why you do what you do

You’re a female

You should be home

But what they don’t know

Is that fighting fires is your life

You know you’re one of the strongest

You prove to everyone that you can do this job

You have saved so many

You don’t care what people think

Women can do everything men can do

In fire gear and out

You fight fires everyday

You go to the worst accidents

You’ve seen kids and parents not make it

You’re the woman

That every little girl wants to be

You’ve tough kids

And you’ve carried them from burning buildings

Its your life

Its what you always wanted to do

Firefighting is you drea

Your career your life.

Very seldom do we get girls to join for the Right reason..and that really makes me mad!! and you too, most likely you, too..huh. I mean, we work soooo hard to prove ourselves (you know that we will always HAVE to be just alittle bit better than the guys just to keep the respect) and then along come a "cute little thing" who joins just to play. ooops...I sure jumped on that "soap box" fast, didn't I. Hold strong! Your sister in fire.
